Certification is awarded to fellows who successfully meet the approved programme requirements. This guide explains the certification criteria, how certification decisions are made, and how eligible fellows can access their certificates through the 3MTT Dashboard.

What Does NextGen Certification Mean?
The NextGen Certificate recognizes that a fellow has successfully completed the programme requirements and demonstrated the practical application of skills learned during the fellowship through an approved Capstone Project.

Certification Requirements

To be considered for certification, fellows must satisfy the following requirements:

1. Acceptance of DHF Learning Platform Invitation
You must have been included among fellows who accepted the invitation to join the DHF learning platform. Verification is based on DHF invitation acceptance records.

2. Approved Capstone Project
Your NextGen Capstone Project must have an Approved status. This is a mandatory requirement and cannot be waived.

Important Note
If your Capstone Project is marked Rejected, you will not be certified, regardless of any other evidence of participation, course engagement, or programme activities.

The Capstone Project serves as the primary evidence that you have successfully applied the knowledge and skills gained during the NextGen programme.

What If My DHF Record Cannot Be Found?

We understand that access to the DHF platform ended during the programme close-out process.

If your DHF invitation acceptance cannot be confirmed, your assigned State Programme Manager (SPM) may conduct an exception review.

During this review, the SPM may consider:

  • Evidence that you accessed or participated on the DHF platform

  • Proof of enrolment on DHF

  • Evidence of activity on the platform

  • ALC attendance records

  • Any other relevant evidence confirming participation in the NextGen Fellowship

Following the review, the SPM will make a final decision on your certification eligibility.

How Certification Decisions Are Made

You Will Be Certified If;

✅ Your Capstone Project is Approved, and your DHF invitation acceptance is confirmed.

OR

✅ Your Capstone Project is Approved, your DHF acceptance cannot be confirmed, but your assigned SPM approves your exception review.

You Will Not Be Certified If:

❌ Your Capstone Project is Approved, but your DHF acceptance cannot be confirmed and your SPM does not approve the exception review.

❌ Your Capstone Project is Rejected, regardless of any other status or evidence.

Capstone Resubmission Opportunity

Fellows who are not certified for any of the reasons below may still resubmit their Capstone Project through their dashboard:

  • The Capstone Project was not submitted

  • Access was not granted for project review

  • The submitted project was deemed invalid

📅 Resubmissions are open until 23 October 2026.
