1️⃣ What is Nextgen Cohort in the 3MTT programme?

3MTT NextGen fellowship is designed to train participants in in-demand tech skills and prepare them for career opportunities in the digital economy.

2️⃣ How do I register for 3MTT NextGen Cohort?To register:

1. Go to https://app.3mtt.training/apply
2. Select “As a Fellow” and complete your details.
3. Verify with OTP and finish your profile.
4. Follow the onboarding cards on your dashboard to complete assessments and foundational modules.

3️⃣ What are the steps after registration?After registering:

✔ Complete your profile
✔ Take the RAISEC assessment
✔ Complete foundational courses
✔ Take the Entry Assessment.
Once done, wait for selection and induction into the cohort.


4️⃣ Do I have to complete all steps to be eligible for Nextgen Cohort?

Yes. You must complete all mandatory steps, including the foundational course and entry assessment to be considered for selection into the programme.

5️⃣ How do I take my Nextgen Cohort foundation course?

After completing the RAISEC assessment, you can access your foundational course via your 3MTT dashboard and start learning as guided.

6️⃣ Where do I take the Entry Assessment?

Your Entry Assessment is taken through the Skillader platform, accessible via the prompt on your dashboard after completing the foundational course.

7️⃣ Can I change my preferred course after I’ve selected it?

Yes, but only before the cohort learning begins. Once the learning phase starts after the entry assessment, you cannot change your course.

8️⃣ What happens after I complete the Entry Assessment?

Once you finish your entry assessment, your submission is reviewed and if selected, you’ll be notified and inducted into Nextgen Cohort.

9️⃣ What are available learning paths in Nextgen Cohort?

Nextgen Cohort offers multiple tech learning paths — including areas such as Data Analysis, Data Science, AI/Machine Learning, Frontend Development, Backend Development, Full-Stack Development, DevOps, Quality Assurance, UI/UX Design, Animation, Game Development, Product Management, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing.

1️⃣1️⃣ Are there recommended courses before Nextgen Cohort starts?

Yes, it’s recommended you complete the foundational course on Compass AI and any preparatory modules to boost your readiness before the main learning phase begins.

1️⃣2️⃣ Do previous applicants from earlier cohorts need to re-register?

Previous applicants who weren’t selected or didn’t finish prior cohorts can log in to the dashboard and follow onboarding cards to apply for Nextgen Cohort.

1️⃣3️⃣ What are common reasons for incomplete registration?

Common issues include:

🔹 Missing OTP verification
🔹 Incomplete profile data
🔹 Not completing required assessments
Make sure you follow all onboarding steps fully.


1️⃣4️⃣ Is there a mobile app for 3MTT?

Currently, learning and cohort registration are done through the 3MTT dashboard and partner platforms like Darey.io and Skillader; there isn’t a standalone mobile app.

1️⃣5️⃣ What support is available while learning?

Once selected, fellows receive academic and technical support via mentorship, peer learning groups, ALCs, Community Managers, State WhatsApp communities and help resources on Darey.io and the support portal.

I’m an existing community member (applied before but wasn't selected). How do I join Nextgen Cohort?

You don’t need to create a new account! Simply log in to your existing 3MTT Dashboard. Look for the "NextGen Fellowship" onboarding cards. You will be prompted to verify your NIN/BVN and complete your profile to be considered for Nextgen Cohort 


What are the mandatory steps to complete my Nextgen Cohort  application?

There are 4 essential steps to be eligible for selection:

1. Profile Completion: Update your bio-data and contact details.
2. RIASEC Assessment: A personality-to-career fit test on the Skillader platform.
3. Foundational Courses: Complete the introductory modules on Compass AI via your dashboard.
4. Entry Assessment: Take the technical benchmark test for your chosen track.

I don’t like the course recommended for me. Can I change it?

Yes! You can change your course directly on your 3MTT Dashboard. Look for the "My Profile" option. Note: It is highly recommended to choose a course that aligns with your RIASEC assessment results for the best learning experience.



I finished my foundational videos, but my progress bar isn't moving. Is something wrong?

Don't panic! Ensure you have clicked the "Mark as Complete" button after each module. If the bar still doesn't update, try clearing your browser cache or logging out and back in.



What is the "NextGen Fellowship" and how is it different from regular 3MTT?

The NextGen Fellowship is a special track for Nextgen, powered by the Airtel Africa Foundation. It offers enhanced benefits including specialized mentorship, hands-on projects, and direct pathways to externships and jobs.


Do I have to pay for the NextGen Fellowship training?

No. 3MTT remains 100% free. There is no "commitment fee" or "acceptance fee" required for selection. If anyone asks you for money, it is a scam.



I’ve completed all 4 steps. When will I know if I’m selected for Nextgen Cohort?

Selection is not immediate. The 3MTT team reviews all entries based on assessment scores and regional distribution. Keep an eye on your Dashboard status and your registered email for the official selection notification.


Is physical attendance mandatory?

3MTT uses a hybrid learning model. While most of your coursework is online and self-paced, you are required to attend physical applied learning sessions at your designated Applied Learning Centre
