Congratulations! ๐ŸŽ‰ You have been selected as a Cohort 3 Fellow in the 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) program. This is your opportunity to gain high-demand digital skills, work on real-world projects, and unlock career opportunities. This guide will help you understand how to get started and make the most of this journey.


Step 1: Set Up Your Learning Environment

As a new fellow, hereโ€™s what you need to do first:

โœ… Check Your Email: Youโ€™ll receive your Darey.io login details and onboarding instructions.
โœ… Log in to Darey.io: Access the platform via Darey.io and explore your learning dashboard.
โœ… Watch the Onboarding Video: This will guide you on how to navigate the platform and access your courses.
โœ… Join the Community: Connect with other fellows, mentors, and facilitators on Discord for discussions and support.


Step 2: Understand Your Learning Journey

Your training is divided into two key phases:

๐Ÿ“Œ In-Cohort Learning Phase (4 Months)

  • Complete structured coursework, assignments, and projects.
  • Engage in peer-to-peer learning, mentorship, and assessments.
  • Participate in hands-on learning through Applied Learning Clusters (ALCs) or Peer Groups.

๐Ÿ“Œ Externship & Career Pathways (8-12 Weeks)

  • Work on real-world projects and gain industry experience.
  • Develop a professional portfolio to showcase your skills.

Step 3: Access Your Courses & Start Learning

To begin your training:

1๏ธโƒฃ Log in to Darey.io.
2๏ธโƒฃ Go to "Learning Path" on the left menu.
3๏ธโƒฃ Click "My Learning" at the top center.
4๏ธโƒฃ Find "Accelerator Program" under Cohort 3 and click Start Learning.


Step 4: Engage in Peer-to-Peer Learning

Fellows are grouped into Peer Learning Teams to:

๐Ÿค Learn together and collaborate on projects.
๐Ÿ“ข Share insights, solve problems, and support each other.
โœ… Attend weekly virtual or in-person meetups.

Each team has a Peer Lead who helps coordinate activities, track progress, and ensure active participation.


Step 5: Track Your Progress with the Darey Score

Your Darey Score reflects your progress and engagement in the program.

๐Ÿ”น 800+ = Excellent progress, job-ready.
๐Ÿ”น 600-799 = Satisfactory, needs some improvement.
๐Ÿ”น Below 600 = At risk of not graduating.

To graduate, you must maintain a minimum Darey Score of 600+, complete 70% of your coursework, and finish your capstone project.


Step 6: Follow the Code of Conduct

To stay in the program, you must:

โœ” Respect peers, facilitators, and mentors.
โœ” Complete assignments on time and maintain academic integrity.
โœ” Engage in community discussions and learning activities.
โœ” Report any misconduct or issues to your Peer Lead or Community Manager.


Step 7: Stay Engaged & Seek Support When Needed

๐Ÿ’ก Attend live classes and review recorded lessons.
